Professional whitening lightens teeth that have darkened from coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco or simply time. We offer in-clinic treatment, which works in a single appointment, and custom take-home trays that you use over a period of days.
Not every kind of discolouration responds to whitening. Stains inside the tooth from trauma, certain antibiotics, or fluorosis behave differently from surface staining, and may be better addressed with veneers or bonding. Existing crowns, veneers and white fillings do not change colour at all, which matters if they sit in your smile line.
Temporary sensitivity during and shortly after treatment is common and usually settles within a few days. We assess your teeth and gums first and will tell you honestly what result is realistic for you.
