Severe toothache, facial swelling, a broken or knocked-out tooth, bleeding that will not stop, or a lost crown on a front tooth all warrant prompt attention. Call the clinic and describe what has happened so we can advise you and arrange to see you.

If a permanent tooth has been knocked out completely, handle it by the crown and not the root, and keep it moist in milk or in the patient’s own saliva. Getting to a dentist within the first hour makes a real difference to whether it can be replanted.

Swelling that is spreading towards the eye or under the jaw, or any difficulty breathing or swallowing, needs emergency medical care immediately rather than a dental appointment. Our emergency contact number is +971 50 139 0923.
