Extraction is recommended when a tooth cannot be saved, when a wisdom tooth is impacted and causing problems, or occasionally to create space as part of orthodontic treatment.

Green Tower has oral and maxillofacial surgeons on site, so surgical extractions including impacted wisdom teeth are handled at the clinic rather than referred elsewhere. Imaging beforehand shows the root shape and how close the tooth sits to the nerve, which determines the approach.

Afterwards you will be given clear aftercare instructions covering bleeding, swelling, what to eat, and what to avoid. Following them closely reduces the risk of a painful dry socket. Some swelling and discomfort for a few days is expected. We will tell you what is normal and what warrants a call back to the clinic.
